A Little Bit About Me.
I'm an Edinburgh based creative who's main focus is video and digital but also specialise in various other areas of the creative world. To put it simply, if you want to make something that's digital, I can help you make that a reality. I've been working with cameras my entire life and have been creating commercial media work for over 7 years. For the past 5 years, I've been running my own company that operates in apparel and print sales, also creating all digital graphics, product photography, web design, marketing and more.
After working in the clothing industry since 2018, I'm re-entering the media space with the knowledge, equipment and maturity I've developed since leaving school when I originally wished to pursue this. I operate across the UK and have an extremely unique, high end yet organic style. I stray far from cliché commercial looks and focus heavily on cinematic shooting paired with labourious colour grading and film emulations.

Finally, we'll perfect it together. Don't worry, I'll be doing the heavy lifting but, especially with video projects, you always have to account for various revisions from clients and I'm here to make this easy.

What Can I Offer You.

Videography
Film and editing is my key area of focus with my style being based on a very clean, film like aesthetic. I can easily adapt to whatever filming and editing style you might require but will always try and show the benefits that this approach can offer alongside the time spent on the colour-grading side of things. I shoot with cinema cameras at 6k resolution in Blackmagic RAW + S-Log to always achieve the best possible picture quality and am happy to provide either graded or original footage in the final project delivery. This industry is already extremely saturated and whilst I can't convince you to choose me, if you're looking for an aesthetic that geniunley stands out against your 'average promotional video' that everyone else seems to be peddling right now, I'm your guy. I've worked across a range of industries, shooting everything from full length documentaries to quick, small business focused social media clips. I can cover many bases and will always strive to meet your requirements whilst adding my own flare to what will be a guaranteed beautiful final result.

Photography
Photography usually goes hand in hand with video and, whilst I don't have three arms, I can happily offer photos within my service, especially if there's good structure to a project and it's less of a 'run & gun' shoot. As I also shoot in very high resolutions, a lot of the 'images' you see across this site are actually video stills - therefore, I'm happy to deliver these as well to act as photos. Otherwise, i shoot photos using fujfilm bodies & lenses for a very filmic look (but always adjustable in post if desired). I spent my teen years photographing sport and whilst I've pivoted hard from that, it gave me a great grounding to discover my own style and preferences. I much prefer shooting people/portraits however, over the past year have shot for many businesses that included shooting still spaces, landscapes and much more comercially classical photography.

Having worked in graphic design almost daily for the 5 years, I know a thing or two. Unluckily, I'm no amazing physical artist, painter or illustrator but I'm extremely profficient in Photoshop and general design. Therefore, if you're looking for visual marketing materials, I can happily offer it alongside a heap of other crazy visual skills I've picked up over the years (projection mapping, mixed media, lasers etc). I also offer web + ecommerce design and have extensive history there having created many websites over the year (including the one you're using right now).

Another trick I have up my sleeve is physical clothing production and various other production methods within that similar space. I personally own an industrial embroidery machine that opens up huge possibilities for low MOQ client requirements alongside heat pressing, vinyl decals and more.

Treen is one of the leaders of sustainable fashion and, based in edinburgh, reached out to get help in creating some clean and high end visuals for their first ever garment colloboration with esteemed fine art photographer, Soo Burnell.

Given I spend such a huge amount of time pouring over colour grading, it was an honour when Dehancer reached out to collaborate on a video promoting their DaVinci Resolve plugin, something I heavily use in my workflow.

As ever with my workload, Merchiston required a large quantity of vintage rugby shirts embroidered at short notice which I was happy to fulfill and deliver all within 10 days. This relationship has continued and we aim to further progress their merchandise offering soon.

I know, Netflix, the real Netflix. Back in 2022 they reached out regarding some of my poster work inquiring if they could use it within one of their new original shows. I worked with the set team on that production to deliver these files digitall throughout production.
