Honestly, That's Sorta It.

I don't have a huge amount to say as it's definitely extremely self-explanatory, right? After almost a year of one of the most colourful and simultaneously impossible to navigate websites, I decided it was time to retire the old FKJK site in favour of a new, more modern, boomer-friendly and generally professional website.

Don't get me wrong, I love colour and I love being bold, I think the old website perfectly reflected that energy. But the reality is, I'm trying to prove people with money that they should spend that money on me. And whilst I know I'd nail their job and impress the hell out of them, they need to know that as well.

Hopefully, this website can serve that purpose whilst retaining little elements of fun and cool features!

Jumping Ship, Jumping Platforms

I can be quite an indecisive person when it comes to my own creations and me jumping to a totally new platform for the creation of this site is a perfect example of that. I loved Readymag, the platform my old site was built with, it was freeing and fun. Yet, where it excelled in simplicity to create something totally wild, it lacked in deeper functions to keep things structured and contain an ever-growing website.

I've now hopped over to Framer and boy am I loving it. It's complicated but I'm getting there. I'm never afraid to share stuff like that, I proudly wear on my chest that I'm no crazy HTML coder or anything, nope, just a dude who likes to make visually fun stuff and tries to master the best tools available to achieve that.

So hey, if you're looking for a funky little website like this one, give me a shout? Otherwise, I do also work in-depth over on Shopify and some of those other 'mainstream builders'.

For now though, enjoy the new site and all the 'clean' chaos that'll be coming with it.

Love,
